Georgia’s annual inflation rate amounted to 2.5 percent in May 2018 , while compared to the previous month the Consumer Price Index (annual inflation) remained unchanged, reports the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Last month prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 0.7 percent and contributed -0.22 percentage points to the overall Consumer Price Index change.

As for transport related costs it increased by one percent and contributed 0.13 percentage points to the overall annual inflation rate.
