Education costs have risen in Georgia, show the latest inflation data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Prices in the group of education increased by 3.7 per cent. The prices were up for the following subgroups:
Prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels also increased by one per cent. The prices went up for the following subgroups:
Health-related costs also increased by 0.6 per cent. In the mentioned period the prices went up for the following subgroups:
Overall, in September 2018 the consumer price index increased by 0.3 per cent compared to the previous month, while the annual inflation rate amounted to 2.7 per cent, said Geostat.
