852 families receive access to natural gas in eastern Georgia

Four villages in Georgia’s eastern Shida Kartli region – Idleti, Tsinarekhi, Lavriskhevi and Gomijvari will have natural gas provision from now on.

Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze visited the villages to make sure the families living in the villages receive natural gas.
Our goal for the next years is to finish gasification in Georgia so that every citizen will have access to the natural gas”, Minister Kaladze said stressing how natural gas provision is vital for people.
Georgian Gas Transportation Company carried out the gasification process to improve the living conditions of the local population. As a result 852 families will now have access to natural gas.

The 970,000 GEL gasification project was financed by the state budget.
SOCAR Georgia Gas will be responsible for gas provision.
