Georgia has won gold, silver and bronze medals at the European Judo Championship in Poland’s capital of Warsaw.
Guram Tushishvili became the European champion and took the gold medal in the over100 kg category defeating another Georgian judoka Adam Okruashvili who received silver, while Beka Gviniashvili in the under 90 kg category got the bronze.

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili took to his official Facebook page to congratulate Georgia with the triumph.
One gold, one silver, one bronze! Congratulations for our judokas' success at the European championship”, Margvelashvili posted.
The European Judo Championship is taking place from April 19-23 in individual and team competitions.
12 Georgian athletes - both men and women - were among the sportsmen from 42 countries that have been competing at Torwar Arena.
