Young Georgian pianist Ana Kipiani has signed her first professional contract after joining the Paris-based Artmedeo company and will be announcing upcoming projects earlier this week.

Kipiani, who swept seven prizes at France’s annual Piano Campus International Competition earlier this year, signed with the company working to provide services to jazz and classical artists.

Founded by the French Order of Arts and Letters recipient Yann Ollivier last year, the organisation seeks to help artists "develop professionally, produce and distribute their projects and create their own artistic signature”.

Artmedeo services include consulting, management and production.

The company utilises the management experience of Ollivier, who worked as managing director of Universal Music Classics, the United States representation of the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon and Decca labels.

After revealing the news about the deal, Kipiani also told her social media followers she expects to announce the news on new musical projects in September.

The young artist’s contract with Artmedeo comes in the wake of her graduation from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory earlier this year.

Supported by Georgia’s state International Education Centre, Kipiani studied at the school under the tutorship of famous Georgian pianist and professor Eliso Virsaladze.

Kipiani has already performed at international venues including the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin and the Amsterdam Royal Concertgebouw in the Netherlands.
