Award-winning Georgian pianist Anna Nanuashvili and a roster of acclaimed artists will invite classical music enthusiasts to be entertained with a performance of works "for the most extreme feelings" in Germany's south next month.
German-based Nanuashvili will be joined by her spouse and pianist Besso Namchevadze as well as Hans Schaeuble Award-winning violoncellist Rastislav Huba and violinist Aischa Guendisch for the chamber music concert titled Space Jump.
The title is a nod to the extreme sports athlete Felix Baumgartner's famous 2012 jump from stratosphere to the surface of Earth, which inspired musical composition by well-known pianist and composer Fazil Say, set to be performed at the concert.

Works on the concert program also include music by Claude Debussy and Felix Mendelssohn, and will be performed at the Eurythmeum Stuttgart venue on October 22.
For Nanuashvili the show follows a concert at the Threefold Auditorium in New York earlier this year. The pianist has also performed at other venues in Stuttgart as well as festivals including the Festival Off of Avignon in France and the Xiropigado Open-Air Festival in Greece.

Born in Georgia's capital Tbilisi, she received her first piano lessons at age five, followed by formal education at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
Performing with the Tbilisi State Symphony Orchestra at a young age, Nanuashvili went on to graduate from the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
The Georgian pianist has also received the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship and the State Scholarship of Georgia's former President Eduard Shevardnadze.
