Smartphone and tablet owners can now use a brand new mobile application by Georgia's National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) to benefit from the organisation's services without personal computers.
The new application enabled users to search for real estate registration applications, track submission progress, download registration documents and find other services online.
Mobile applications are used by an increasing number of individuals. We believe the NAPR mobile application - which will feature new services via continuous updates - will also have many users," Agency chairman Papuna Ugrekhelidze said in the office's announcement.
The NAPR mobile application was available for download on the official Google Play website for the Android operating system applications, with an iOS version for Apple devices being under development.
The Agency said it also planned to create a similar program for business registry services.
The NAPR regular online service was visited daily by thousands of citizens involved in real estate deals, public information and procurement data requests as well as other matters.
Named 2013 IT Agency of the Year in Georgia, the office was involved in a number of recent technology initiatives including a high altitude drone project for charting the territory of Georgia.
