More than 1,000 remote Georgian villages now have an easy access to vital public services thanks to Express Community Centres - vans that drive around the country, delivering services.

Currently, Georgia has 71 vans that give the rural population access to vital public services without travelling to major cities or towns.

The mobile service delivery vehicles offer more than 200 key public and banking services for the villages where there are no public service halls and banks.

The Express Community Centres was the project of Georgia’s Justice Ministry’s Public Service Development Agency.

The Agency said users of the Express Community Centres could easily receive services rendered by the Public Service Development Agency, the National Archive of Georgia, the National Agency of Public Registry, Social Service Agency and Mekanizatori LLC (Subsidiary of the Ministry of Agriculture).
