Georgian soldiers are gearing up to take part in multi-national military exercises in Ukraine.
From September 12-26, more than 1,000 soldiers from and 15 countries will take part in the exercises near the city of Lviv in western Ukraine.
Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council announced 200 American troops would be involved in the military exercises, together with troops from Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania and Spain.
American media outlet CNN yesterday reported on the announcement but did not detail what kind of exercises would take place.
