Georgian police officers have arrested 10 individuals, including two foreign citizens, for illegal purchase, possession and smuggling of drugs in capital Tbilisi and other regions of the country.
The Interior Ministry said on Tuesday four of the arrested had been charged with drug-dealing.
Police also seized over 1 kg of heroin, subutex, alpha PVP, 45 packages of methadone and other drugs during a related search.
The crimes are punishable up to 20 years in prison, or life imprisonment.
