The United States (US) Vice President Mike Pence will pay a visit to Georgia on July 31.
Pence will travel to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi after his visit to the Estonian capital of Tallinn, while later he will move to Montenegro’s capital of Podgorica.

Georgian leaders believe Pence’s visit is the demonstration of a strong US support towards Georgia.
Us Vice President’s visit to Georgia is a significant message… It highlights high-level of cooperation between Georgia and US and [points out] that Georgian Government and US President's new administration have well-developed relationship”, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze said today.

US Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly also said that US Vice President's visit is an expression of solidarity towards Georgia - the country that is trying to build up its statehood, strengthen armed forces and increase defence capacity.
Kelly said Pence’s visit will be a strong message that US supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
