Georgia’s Patriarch Ilia II has handed gifts to US Vice President and his wife in Tbilisi, during the meeting at Sioni cathedral,
As a sign of respect Patriarch Ilia II gifted Mike Pence with a gold bracelet and his wife with a gold cross,” Patriarchate’s representative father Giorgi Zviadadze announced.

Patriarch also requested the gusts to hand his gifts to President Trump and his wife. The Vice President responded that he would personally hand the Patriarch’s gifts to Mr. Trump and his wife,” Zviadadze said.

He stated that a bracelet and a cross were the gifts for Donald and Melania Trump.
The gifts have an inscription "God Bless You”.
During the visit Pence also meet the US Embassy staff to Georgia.

The United States (US) Vice President Mike Pence will pay a visit to Georgia on July 31. Pence will travel to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi after his visit to the Estonian capital of Tallinn, while later he will move to Montenegro’s capital of Podgorica.
