The US Vice President Mike Pence’s Office has released a special video on Facebook in the wake of the US top official’s visit to Georgia, Estonia and Montenegro last week.
Western civilization is a beautiful mosaic of free countries and peoples - each with their own unique histories, cultures, languages and traditions and all of which deserve to be cherished, celebrated, and protected," says the video caption.
But in these challenging times, once-distant threats have become local threats to nations and communities across the world, and all free nations must band together to confront and overcome these threats.”
During his visit in the Eastern European nations Pence stressed US’s strong support to the three countries for their freedom and shared values.
US Vice President Mike Pence, who is on his first official visit to Georgia, stresses that his country "strongly condemns” Russia’s occupation of Georgian soil and supports the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Kvirikashvili stated US is Georgia’s dedicated friend, a faithful geopolitical ally and a strategic partner, with whom we share common values and global security priorities."Our strategic goal is to retake our rightful place in the family of European nations," the PM stressed.
Georgia’s Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze says that US Vice President Mike Pence’s visit today to Georgia confirms that Georgia is recognized as a "firm ally and a strategic partner by the United States.”
The United States (US) Vice President Mike Pence will pay a visit to Georgia on July 31. Pence will travel to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi after his visit to the Estonian capital of Tallinn, while later he will move to Montenegro’s capital of Podgorica.
Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili hosted Chairman of the Parliament of Montenegro Ivan Brajovic today to discuss prospects of stepping up bilateral relations.
