UAE President, officials congratulate Georgian PM, ruling party on election victory

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday congratulated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and the ruling Georgian Dream party on winning the parliamentary elections on Saturday.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, as well as Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, also joined the congratulatory message to the Georgian PM.

The GD party managed to secure 54 percent of the vote in general elections, gaining 89 seats in the next Parliament.
