Georgian Election Commission’s preliminary results put ruling party at 53%

The Central Election Commission of Georgia on Saturday published preliminary results of the parliamentary elections, with the ruling Georgian Dream party leading with 53.028 percent of votes.

The results from over 70% of votes counted put the numbers for other major election subjects as follows:

Unity – to Save Georgia coalition, led by the United National Movement and involving Strategy Agmashenebeli and other political figures - 9.852 percent

For Georgia, led by former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia - 8.224 percent

Coalition for Change, involving Ahali, Girchi – More Freedom, and Droa - 11.185 percent

Strong Georgia, involving Lelo for Georgia, For People, Citizens, and Freedom Square - 9.011 percent
