Georgian Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee Chair, Malaysian Senator discuss ties, Georgian elections

Relations between Georgia and Malaysia and cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed between Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament and Senator Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed, the Vice President of the Dewan Negara of the Parliament of Malaysia on Wednesday.

The Georgian Parliament said the sides highlighted the parliamentary elections scheduled in the country for October 26, parliamentary relations, trade and economic ties, as well as collaboration in education and tourism. 

A prospect of visa-free travel for Georgian citizens in Malaysia was also emphasised.
