Arab, Polish influencers explore Adjara attractions on media tour

A group of Arab and Polish influencers have visited western Georgia’s Adjara region on a media tour to explore its popular tourist destinations, the Tourism Department of the region said on Wednesday.

The group visited remains of the ancient Black Sea coastline Petra and Gonio forts, Batumi Botanical Garden in the regional capital and other popular destinations.

The visitors include adventure enthusiasts and were also welcomed into the Kapnistavi Canyon and stayed at cottages of mountainous parts of Adjara.

Their experiences were shared on social media platforms, reaching an audience of hundreds of thousands across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn”, the Administration said.

The body added it had hosted 25 tours this year, with about 100 journalists and influencers invited to the region. Adjara’s marine and mining tourism products have also been highlighted in over 15 target countries, including the United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, India, China, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
