The western Georgian city of Kutaisi is hosting Gemo Fest, a food and drink festival, with local hosts presenting traditional, rare and less-known dishes from the Imereti region in Veriko Anjaparidze Square in the downtown.
The festival, organised over the weekend by the country’s National Tourism Administration, is offering the products at the food court with local and visiting chefs, as well as 18 producers from the region who are featured in the event.
Visitors to the festival are also invited to business and wine markets, entertainment spaces, a photo booth and music shows.
