Georgian FM congratulates Belgium on taking over Presidency of EU Council

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Tuesday congratulated Belgium on taking over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

In his social media post, Darchiashvili wished Belgian colleagues “the best of luck in this important mission” and said he was sure the country’s Presidency would “very much contribute to strengthening the European family and overcoming current challenges”.

My congratulations to Belgium on taking over the Presidency of the Council of the EU. I wish our colleagues the best of luck in this important mission.
