A Government meeting on Wednesday discussed the approval of the 2023 Action Plan for the Development Strategy of Georgia and the ongoing reform of the public administration sector, among other topics.
The Action Plan includes specific activities to be carried out by the Government this year in order to fulfil the tasks and achieve the goals defined by the Strategy, the Government Administration said.
The Strategy establishes the main elements of the vision of the country's development by 2030 and includes “all priority areas” of development.
The Government also approved the 2023-2026 Public Administration Reform Strategy and the 2023-2024 Action Plan for its implementation.
Launched in 2015 within the framework of the 2014 Association Agreement with the European Union, the reform includes policy planning and coordination, public service, accountability, public finance management and provision of state services.
