Security challenges and regional threats facing Georgia, as well as “current processes in the world” were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between Grigol Liluashvili, the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia and Robin Dunnigan, the new United States Ambassador to the country.
The Service said the officials highlighted the importance of “strong security partnership” between the two countries and opportunities for further deepening the cooperation.
Liluashvili congratulated the Ambassador on the start of her diplomatic mission in the country, while Dunnigan expressed her gratitude for the Georgian authorities’ contribution to the security cooperation.
