European University ranks among world’s best universities in 2022 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

The Tbilisi-based European University has been ranked among the world's best universities in the 2022 edition of the British magazine Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, the University announced on Tuesday.

The European University was ranked in 1001+ place, among 1,406 universities from 106 countries, being the only university in Georgia included in the fourth consecutive edition of the Impact Rankings

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings was founded in 2019. It annually publishes an overall ranking of universities, as well as 17 tables showing universities’ progress towards the “universal” 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which aims to “achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, addressing the global challenges people face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice”.
