The Tbilisi-based European University has launched the Let’s Get to Know Georgia project, which aims to introduce foreign students of the University to historical sites of Georgia and raise their awareness of domestic culture, the European University said on Tuesday.
As part of the first, one-day tour in Georgia’s northern Kazbegi municipality, the foreign students had the opportunity to visit Zhinvali reservoir, a hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River in the Caucasus Mountains in Zhinvali, as well as Ananuri Fortress Complex, Gveleti waterfall and the panoramic view of ski-resort Gudauri.

The representatives of the United States Embassy to Georgia on Friday visited the Jo Ann University Hospital in Tbilisi and handed over the gifts to the patients in the children's department, the European University said.

Citizens of foreign countries who have received full general education in Georgia will be able to continue their studies at higher educational institutions without passing the unified national exams.
The Tbilisi-based European University on Friday hosted the multicultural festival, with representatives from over 70 countries represented in the courtyard of the student dormitory, sharing their diverse cultures on the grand stage.
