Bulgarian Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel on Friday stressed her country would continue to “strongly support” Georgia on the European Union integration path.
After the meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili in Sofia, Gabriel said she was “glad to welcome” her counterpart from Georgia to discuss the “excellent relations” between the two states.

In her social media post, Bulgarian FM noted she had discussed with Darchiashvili Georgia’s reforms and progress achieved on the “EU road”, as well as Bulgaria’s support for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
