Georgian PM attends plenary session of European Political Community Summit

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Thursday attended the opening event of the plenary session of the third edition of the European Political Community Summit in Granada, the Government Administration said.
The plenary session of the Summit was opened by the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who addressed the leaders of the participating states.
Leaders of 47 European countries and heads of various institutions of the European Union are attending the Summit.
Gitanas Nausėda, the Lithuanian President, on Thursday said his Government was “strongly motivated” to “politically support” Georgia obtaining the European Union membership candidate status later this year.
