Ilia Giorgadze, Georgia’s Ambassador to Spain, on Thursday highlighted the participation of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in a roundtable format at the 3rd European Political Community Summit in Granada that would discuss the “most important” matters for European countries.
In his remarks over the Summit that will take place between Thursday and Friday, Giorgadze noted Garibashvili would meet leaders of European countries and his counterparts.
He will attend the opening ceremony and then take part in a round table format, topical discussions, where the most important matters for European countries will be discussed. Of course, the meetings with leaders of European countries and his counterparts are also planned”, the Georgian diplomat said.
At the first meeting in October 2022, leaders mainly discussed peace and security issues, with an emphasis on Russia's war in Ukraine and the energy crisis.
At the June 2023 edition they discussed joint efforts for peace and security, energy resilience and connectivity and mobility in Europe.
