Cooperation and future relations of Georgia and Lithuania were in focus in a meeting between Shalva Bedoidze, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, and his Lithuanian colleague Vitalij Dmitrijev, the Ministry said on Thursday.
Within his official visit to the country, Bedoidze and his delegation members attended an event dedicated to Police Day and had an official meeting with the Police Commissioner General Renatas Požėla.

The “fruitful relationship” between law enforcement agencies of the two states was highlighted by Bedoidze during the meeting.
The parties also highlighted the importance of cooperation in the area of law enforcement and pledged to continue their ties.
The Georgian delegation also visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania, where they were briefed about the work of the body’s different units.
