Georgian Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri was on Wednesday hosted at units of the Ministry of Interior of Hungary as part of his official visit to the country.
The Georgian Ministry said Gomelauri and his delegation visited the Hungarian National Police offices and were introduced to operations of the body and the special tasks division aiding regional police in special operations.

He also visited the country’s Counter-Terrorism Centre and received “in-depth information” on its operations.
Gomelauri also met his Hungarian counterpart Sándor Pintér on Tuesday to discuss the law enforcement cooperation between the two countries, with the discussion followed by an official dinner hosted for the Georgian delegation in Budapest.
