Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Thursday reviewed cooperation and the country’s European integration in meetings with his Finnish, Irish and Italian counterparts on the sidelines of the European Conference of Presidents of Parliament in Dublin.
Papuashvili and Seán Ó Fearghaíl, the Speaker of the Irish Dáil Éireann, discussed Ireland’s “continued and unequivocal” support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and European future.
Papuashvili stressed the Georgian Government “highly valued” the “strong” friendship between the two countries.

The meeting with the Finnish counterpart Jussi Halla-aho focused on Georgia's EU and NATO aspirations, Russia’s war against Ukraine and its negative consequences, Georgia’s Russian-occupied regions and security threats as well as recent developments in the South Caucasus region.
