Georgia's progress in implementing the European Union’s conditions for granting the country the membership candidate status was discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Didier Reynders, the EU Commissioner for Justice.
The meeting focused on the reforms carried out by the Georgian authorities at the legislative and institutional level, the Georgian foreign office said.

The meeting also highlighted the strategy and action plan of the judicial reform, and noted “all procedures” were being carried out with the involvement of “relevant international institutions” and in consultation with them.
