Georgia’s Anastasia Gubanova claimed a gold medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in Espoo, Finland, with Konstantine Supatashvili earning a silver at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival on Thursday.
Gubanova scored 69.81 points in the former tournament’s short programme, scoring the top result among 29 competitors.
On his part, the 15-year-old Supatashvili was fifth with 65.2 points in the short programme, adding 123.88 in the free programme.
The combined result saw the young entrant claim the silver through the combined points at the competition hosted in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and closing on Saturday.
