Partnership ties between Georgia and the United Kingdom were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and his British counterpart James Cleverly on the sidelines of the ongoing NATO Vilnius Summit.
The officials “noted with satisfaction” the “traditionally friendly and partnerly ties” established between the two countries, the Georgian foreign office said.

The meeting focused on the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia, with Darchiashvili drawing attention to the importance of the UK’s support for the process.
