Georgia's weightlifting team claims 39 medals at European Youth, U15 Championships

The Georgian weightlifting team triumphed at the European Youth and Under-15 Championships by claiming 16 gold, 15 silver and nine bronze medals.
The team’s athletes earned 39 medals in total, 33 of which earned by the boys' team and six by the girls' team.
The result gave Georgia the first place in the team rankings, while both European and Georgian records were also set at the event.
Mariam Murghvliani lifted 103 kg in snatch for a new European record, with the result leading to the 17-year-old winning one gold and two silver medals.
The competitions concluded on Monday in Chișinău.
