Georgian weightlifter Giorgi Kirvalidze on Wednesday claimed two gold medals and one bronze at the U20 European Championships in Bucharest.

Kirvalidze won a gold medal in the 109 kg category of the tournament by lifting 157, 161 and 165 kilograms in snatch and bronze in clean and jerk, lifting 188 and 193 kilograms.
The Georgian weightlifter’s combined total of 358 kg earned him another gold at the Championships running from July 24 to August 3 in Romania’s capital.
