Georgia’s national team claimed 45 gold, 48 silver and 8 bronze medals at the European Armwrestling and Para-Armwrestling Championships, as the competition closed on Sunday.
The team’s athletes competed in a number of weight categories among right- and left-handed counterparts, as the event included sections for junior and senior arm wrestlers, as well as those with the titles of Master, Grandmaster, Senior Grandmaster and Super Senior Grandmaster.
The team also earned the first place with the result at the event.
Over 1000 athletes from 30 countries entered the Championships running between June 8-18 in Chisinau.
