Georgian judoka Giorgi Kaldani on Tuesday became the winner of the European Para Championships in Rotterdam on the first day of the championship.
Kaldani claimed the gold medal in the -73 kg category of the tournament by defeating Azerbaijani rival Namig Abasli in the final.
Two Georgian judokas Zurab Zurabiani and Nukri Migrijanashvili won bronze medals in the -60 kg categories.
The national team of Georgia is represented at the championship by 27 para-athletes in four types of competition, including para judo, shooting para sport, para archery and para taekwondo.
