Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, Georgia's Representative to the European Union and the country’s Ambassador to Belgium, on Tuesday said Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, during his visit to Brussels, would discuss “all priority topics” of the Georgia-EU agenda, including the priorities outlined by the bloc last year for granting its membership candidate status to Georgia.
Makharoblishvili said the PM was set to hold high-level meetings both with the EU high-ranking representatives and Belgian officials. Garibashvili will meet his Belgian counterpart Alexander De Croo and the President of the country’s Chamber of Representatives Patrick Dewael, the Government Administration said.
The Georgian PM will also hold meetings with Charles Michel, the President of the European Council and Olivér Várhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Makharoblishvili noted, adding the parties would discuss Georgia’s expectations regarding EU status.
