A Georgian table tennis player will represent the country in a major international competition for the first time later this month when Ana Nikoiani joins her counterparts in the European Games Kraków-Małopolska.
The 23-year-old will compete at the event after obtaining a wild card entry established by organisers for competitors from countries where the sport is in its infancy, but progress is observed in related development.
She will be alongside 31 players vying for honours in the Polish city of Krakow between June 21-July 1.
Nikoiani has been competing in Serbian- and Hungarian-based professional clubs for the past few years.
