Maia Sandu, the Moldovan President, opened the Summit’s plenary session with an address to officials who will discuss energy and security on the backdrop of Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine during the day, the Georgian Government press office said.
The head of the Government will take part in panel discussions and hold “high-level” bilateral meetings with European partners on the sidelines of the event, the press office announced on Wednesday.
The first EPC Summit was held in October 2022, with leaders mainly discussing peace, security and the energy crisis amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict that erupted in February of last year.
