Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili received congratulations from world leaders on Georgia’s Independence Day, the Government Administration said on Saturday.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, Azerbaijani, Armenian and Czech prime ministers Ali Asadov, Nikol Pashinyan and Petr Fiala extended their congratulations to the Head of the Georgian Government.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Dritan Abazović, Galab Donev and Nicolae Ciucă, prime ministers of Greece, Montenegro, Bulgaria and Romania, as well as Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, the heads of the governments of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, Abdulla Aripov and Akylbek Zhaparov, and Indonesian President Joko Widodo were also among the leaders congratulating the Georgian PM on the Independence Day.
Georgia marks the annual celebrations after May 26, 1918 – the day the Act of Independence established the First Democratic Republic of the country.
