Bilateral economic relations between Georgia and Qatar and investment opportunities were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
The officials highlighted the dynamics of existing “productive cooperation” and pointed out the importance of deepening economic relations between their states, calling the process a “top priority” on the agenda of economic diplomacy, the Georgian Government Administration said.

Garibashvili further stressed the significance of strengthening the cooperation in order to reach “new milestones”, noting Georgia welcomed Qatari businesses to invest in “various fields” in the country.
