Georgian PM to feature at Qatar Economic Forum

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday left for Qatar to participate in the high-level annual Economic Forum hosted in the country, the Government Administration said.
The third edition of the Forum, organised by Bloomberg under the theme “A New Global Growth Story”, will start on Tuesday.
Garibashvili will deliver a speech at a panel discussion hold bilateral meetings at the event.
The Georgian delegation also includes the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili and the Head of Government Administration Revaz Javelidze.
The agenda of bilateral relations between Georgia and Qatar was reviewed on Thursday in an introductory meeting between Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al-Mutawa, Qatar’s Ambassador to the country.
Georgia and Qatar are strengthening trade and economic relations by signing two agreements on Mutual Support and Protection of Investments and on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation, the Georgian Government Administration announced on Tuesday.
