Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan and prospects for further deepening the partnership were discussed on Friday between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Emin Amrullayev, the Azerbaijani Minister of Education.
The meeting focused on the importance of the bilateral agreement on cooperation in education and science, signed last year between the sides, the Government Administration said.
The officials also expressed their willingness to further deepen the existing “fruitful” ties in the field and reviewed “successful” partnerships between higher education institutions.
Bilateral and multilateral cooperation involving professional educational institutions from the two countries were also noted in the discussion.
