Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen will visit Georgia to hold meetings with Georgian officials on Sunday and Monday, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
Rasmussen is set to meet his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili in one-on-one and expanded formats during his visit, after which they will officially open the Danish Embassy in Georgia.
As part of his official visit, Rasmussen, accompanied by the Danish business delegation, will also meet Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili.
Rasmussen will also visit the administrative line separating the Russian-occupied regions from the rest of the country to be informed about the current situation in areas adjacent to the line.
