Bilateral relations between Georgia and Poland were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau, who is on an official visit to Georgia.
The officials reviewed trade and economic cooperation, and the importance of “further” strengthening of ties in this direction, the Government Administration said.
The meeting also focused on the importance of Poland's “strong” support for Georgia's EU membership, with Garibashvili welcoming the Polish Government’s statements in “all possible formats” in support of granting Georgia the EU membership candidate status.
