Sophie Katsarava, Georgia's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, was on Monday awarded the Diplomat of the Year prize by DIPLOMAT, a leading foreign affairs publication recognising some of the most influential envoys based in the UK.
In comments for her acceptance of the award, Katsarava highlighted the “excellent” bilateral relations between Georgia and the UK and thanked organisers and supporters for presenting her with the prize.
Humbled and honoured beyond words to be named diplomat of the year along with my colleagues by the diplomatic community in #London at #DiplomatsAwards2023. It’s a privilege to work with you all and represent my country in the #UK????????
