The United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary James Cleverly on Friday visited the central Georgia’s village of Odzisi that separates the Russian-occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region from the rest of the country as part of his official visit to the country.
Lasha Darsalia, the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, and Irakli Antadze, the Deputy Head of the Analytical Department of the Georgian State Security Service, informed the top British diplomat about the “severe” humanitarian situation in the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia and along the occupation line, the Georgian foreign service said.
The UK will not stand by while Moscow threatens the sovereignty of its neighbours.
