Municipal transport in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi will serve passengers free of fare during extended hours of Easter Eve, the Tbilisi Transport Company said on Saturday.
From 23:00 on Saturday to 04:00 on Sunday, the citizens will be able to use the Tbilisi metro free of fare.
“As for April 16 and 17, the additional routes were set in the direction of [Tbilisi] cemeteries, which will serve passengers free of charge from 08:00 to 20:00”, the statement said.
New buses will join the municipal transport fleet in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi this year while socially underprivileged families will receive accommodation, Mayor Kakha Kaladze said in comments on the City Hall’s plans for the year.
