Investment consultants of World’s leading companies praise Georgia’s dynamic development, investment potential

Investment consultants and managers from the world’s leading BPO companies on Friday praised Georgia’s positive dynamics in the industry, as well as the country’s investment potential.

The high-ranking managers and investment consultants of the business process outsourcing sectors from the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Mexico, and South Africa got acquainted with the country’s business climate and investment opportunities, as well as held meetings with private and public agencies, within the framework of the investment familiarisation tour organised by Enterprise Georgia, an export promotion agency of the country.

Georgia is a country that is moving dynamically, [...] for outsourcing firms that are looking for a new location, Georgia is ticking a lot of boxes [...] any organisation that is looking for a multilingual destination, with great technology skills, solid infrastructure and a business-friendly Government, Georgia needs to be very much at the top of their list”, Peter Ryan, the representative of the Ryan Strategic Advisory said.

In his turn, Mark Essey, the Chief Executive Officer and founder of the Capability BPO, highlighted the support of the Georgian Government for the BPO sector and hailed the information technology in the country. “I am blown away about the development and the advancement of the technology landscape in Georgia”, he added.

We want to diversify our portfolio and expand our clients, [...] I think Georgia is a good opportunity for us”, said Hui Wu-Curtis, the Chief Operating Officer of the minority-owned BPO Support U, explaining the reason for visiting Georgia that was the country’s “strong technical capabilities and strong English abilities”, as well as sustainability to be able to bring operations to the country.
