The cooperation between Georgia and Germany, the progress on the European integration path and the implementation of the EU conditions for granting the country the membership candidate status were discussed on Friday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
Garibashvili highlighted Germany’s “important role” in the process of institutional and socio-economic transformation of the country, the Government Administration said.
The head of the Government stressed Georgia was a “reliable partner and ally” of the European Union and would continue to play a “constructive role” in supporting “peace and stability” in the Black Sea region.
Gharibashvili extended his gratitude to Baerbock for her country’s “political and practical” support for Georgia’s European integration path.
